Ten minutes is all it takes to jot down some good deeds you’d like done in your honor once you have a new cosmic address (you’re dead)
• Buy some art supplies for the kids at the local homeless shelter
• Bring the widowed neighbor a bouquet of flowers every so often, because you no longer can, and it makes her so happy
• Donate two tickets to the symphony to a music teacher (or student) at an underprivileged school
• Plant flowers or do a garden cleanup at an abandoned lot that’s currently an eyesore
• Contribute to a scholarship fund at the local high school
Think of a club, a cause, or a person — locally or across the world — that you care about, and think of a good deed that could be done for them. You will feel so much joy writing down this request, and…
even more importantly…
Your survivors will be so honored (and inspired) to carry this out for you!
Don’t kick the bucket without leaving instructions for creating joy and smiles. And who-knows-what kind of good deed legacy!
